Here’s our song for today: We Will Rise, as sung by the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa. I’m sure that “Ndlovu” has its own African interpretation and meaning. But to my eye, the “lovu” portion of it sticks out: Love U. Or as we commonly say in a short version of I love you: Love Ya! Love is what powers our upliftment and that of others: Our love for the Big You, God; and our love for each child of God, regardless of race, religion, gender or country or continent. Yes, with love we and all of Africa will rise!!!
