Friends, here is one of the best versions of the song “Amen” that I have heard. It is sung by Sing Miller of the New Orleans Preservation Jazz Band. As one of the comments says in appreciation of it: “Old guys rock!” (And old gals, too.)

It reminds me of the old Chinese proverb: “It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.” To which, we say “Amen.”

Sing along, my friends. Let’s not hide our light under a bushel. Rather, we let our light shine. We may be small in number but together we are huge in light. We hug and light up the whole world in our collective heart. Double Amen!!
