Here’s Anne Murray singing a combination of two classic Gospel songs: Just a Closer Walk with Thee and Take My Hand. Her tempo is faster and jazzier than in the traditional versions of these two songs (like Patsy Cline in Just a Closer Walk, which I always have also loved).
I especially love in the middle of Anne’s song when she sings, Take My Hand, Lord Jesus, Take My Hand. I’ve asked him to do so and felt him doing this many times, which always moves me deeply. He’s my spiritual Papa! Yours, too!
