Here’s the “King of the Blues” B.B. King performing the rollicking “Let the Good Times Roll” for the Kennedy Center 2008 Honoree Morgan Freeman. Amazingly, he was 83 years old, so should I say young, at the time. He made his transition (died) in 2015 at age 90.
When I sing along with this wonderful song, I slightly change one word in it: Let the God times roll. Now that is what is truly fun! And makes for great music!
I love B.B.s joyous presence, how he totally gets into the song and has a great time. And his guitar playing is incredible. You cannot help but smile and be happy while watching, listening, clapping, tapping your feet or dancing while you sing along with this song.
