Today’s song, Hand It Over by Keb’ Mo’, live in concert, is one of my favorites. Every morning as I start my prayers and meditations, and all during the day, I try my best to do this very thing: Father-Mother God, Thy will be done.
I love the lyrics, the music, the unique blues style, the love and light that emanates from Keb’ Mo.’ It is so obvious that he does his best in his life to do just as he is singing it. He is not preaching but he is sharing his wisdom. He sings his version of the Blues, not the the blues of suffering, but the First Ray Blues of being happy and loving, of having healing hands.
Humble yourself before God and hand it over to Her-Him. Let Her Mother love you, let Him Father love you. Be the beloved and loving son or daughter of God that you truly are.
