Love Can Build a Bridge

Friends, fellow bridge-builders, here’s our song for today: Love Can Build a Bridge by the Judds (Naomi and her daughter Wynonna). This is a different version of this YouTube video/song that I never had seen until a few days ago when it somehow popped up on the screen of my cell phone.

I shared a version of this song in months past, but it only had the words of the song on the screen, plus the singing and music of the song. It had no video component other than a picture of the two Judds. Originally, this song was published in 1990. I somehow missed this present version I am sharing with you, even though in my original research of it, I had watched ten or more versions of it.

Anyway, the current version contains excellent, inspiring, uplifting video components. It is set in in Sedona, Arizona where Naomi and Wynonna stand atop a butte and sing their song. Below them is a small Amerindian community out in the desert. Several arguments and disagreements amongst Amerindians, whites and blacks are shown and resolved with love. Plus imagery of animals including an eagle and a wolf. You’ll see.

But the key lesson of the song, building love bridges, applies everywhere around the planet these days, especially in Jerusalem, Israel and the surrounding countries, with the anchoring of the Temple of Mars there.
