If you have been watching the Home Free videos I have been posting, you have heard Adam Rupp in the background producing all kinds of percussive sounds with his own voice/mouth. Home Free, as an acapella or all voice group, does not have musical instruments or a mechanical sound track that accompanies them. Rather all sounds come from their voices, with Adam being what is called a beatbox. He has been twice chosen as the World Champion beatbox person.
I never had hear of of beatboxing before this, so I gradually took particular interest in Adam Rupp. Then, I found a YouTube video of him doing a drum solo. It’s pretty amazing. And now, a few years later after this video, he also makes harmonica and tambourine sounds.
