Here’s our inspiring, touching and uplifting song for today, Good Friday here in the USA: Easter Hallelujah by two young sisters, Cassandra and Callahan Armstrong of Canada.
I have loved this song from the first time I heard it about a year ago. When it was published in 2021, Cassandra, who in the video is to the left, was only 10 years old.
My only suggestion would be that 3 more verses be added to the current song, each of them about an aspect of Jesus’ resurrection. Thereby, the 4 verses of the present song about his crucifixion would be rightly balanced by 4 verses that would sing of his resurrection. On this present version, 4 verses cover the crucifixion and one 1 verse covers the resurrection.
So maybe you will want to add your own resurrection verses to the song, or at least give extra attention to the last verse to balance out the first 4 verses. In any case, do enjoy and be uplifted by this current version.
